latest beauty haul

I've been making a few purchases online recently for my humble collection of beauty tools. My MAC items already arrived last weekend and I just super dooper love the lippies I got. Next, I received the L'egere Instant Whitening Serum from another seller. This is a Korea brand and accordingly will help reduce the appearance of blemishes & dark spots. Let's see if it really does it's job :) And the last order I made came in just today! I bought missha shiny BB cream & majolica majorca lash expander. I intentionally did not put on mascara today so that I can use the mm mascara once it arrives. So i'm giddy as it is, the mascara sure does hold to its promise of expanding my lashes! Fafab! I will post later pix of my latest haul...

beauty stash

ayey! i'm kinda a late bloomer and give nary a glance to anything that would spell an all out spree on beauty products. i only have the most basic things a girl could want like a mascara, gloss, powder and an eyeliner. dang! the beauty addicts out there will surely frown upon this old soul of mine. but hey! i'm a changed gal now and slowly starting to love make up and the beauty tools that goes with it. eeeek it's a jungle out there on what to choose as your HG brands, i could literally give myself a headache on what to choose. my sister doesn't even want to come with me now because it takes forever for me to decide on what to buy. still, a girl can learn and pick out the weapons we need and arm ourselves with the affodable but effective buys out there.. i will post pics later of my make up haul and show you what i'm so into now.

as i'm starting out with my make up ride, i've been visiting beauty blogs from left to right to pick up some tips/tricks from the experts or rather beautiful people who has a vast knowledge & experience with make up.here, i stumbled upon a blog from another beauty blogger & she will have her first give-away! what do you say!!! please visit http://loveofmakeup.blogspot.com/2009/12/welcome-to-my-loveofmakeups-first.html#comments to check out this wonderful give-aways.

Typhoon Ondoy

And here I thought that it was just another typhoon but I was wrong. It never occurred in my mind that it will be terrible. Watching the tv news on how badly it turned out was totally devastating. I felt lucky that it never hit our city but felt sad to those who were affected by the typhoon. I can't imagine myself to be in that kind of situation. I'm not even sure if I'll survive that way.

I guess mother nature is punishing us for not taking care of the nature itself. If only garbage were properly disposed of....if only trees were not cut down...and so on and so forth. I think this will be a lesson for us all. As I remembered back then, people that resides near the river bank protested if they were evicted from living there before. Now they are very much willing to be relocated and vacate the place. How ironic. Well, damaged been done it's time for us all to move on to the next phase of our lives.

Costa de Letecia Beach Resort & Spa

We went there last sunday early in the morning then we came back just yesterday in the afternoon. Going there would take you 3 more hours that is if you're going to take the bus since public buses need to stop several times. It will be best to have private transportation so it will shorten the hours of trip.
At first glance I thought it was some private residential house. But when you get near it, it has the signage of their beach resort name. As we entered the resort, I definitely like how the house was designed. I love the glass floorings (well, some part of the floors) because they put shells underneath it with matching illumination lights. You'll be surprised upon entering the building because they have this christmas displays already! Anyways, it's a "BER" month.
The food was good but a bit pricey if you're on a tight budget. But the drinks won't quench your thirst since its serving is a bit small.
Too bad we were not able to use the internet since wi-fi is of no use at all. I'm not sure if it's the internet or the router itself doesn't function well.
